Overview:
In a fast paced, modern world, the
state of our natural resources are often over looked.
Over the past 50 years the state of the world's oceans
have be largely neglected. Today, the world's population
stands at about 6.5 billion people and that number will
reach 9 billion within the next 50 years. Our hunger for
seafood is ever growing and as the current situation stands,
its NOT IF our oceans
supply of seas will be exhausted, but WHEN.
The crisis facing our oceans has not come just from increased
population but is the sum of a number of issues including,
-aquculture
-fishing techniques
-bycatch
-illegal fishing
